09 Sep Top honour marks bumper year for Oakstone
One of the world’s most revered producers of innovative surfaces has named us among an elite group of its associates; and we’re over the moon.
Not just because it rewards our hard work and passion for the brand’s high quality products, but also because our customers can benefit from the accolade too.
Global manufacturer Cosentino has awarded us with Elite Premium Studio status in its Elite Honours List 2016.
We’re one of only two firms in the North East to receive the award, giving our clients the peace of mind that we’ve illustrated excellence in the use of Cosentino’s products. It also tells our customers that we share Cosentino’s commitment to providing a quality product and service.
Cosentino, which recognised our relentless enthusiasm for its products, is THE global leader in the production and distribution of innovative surfaces and we’ve been working with the company for 12 years.
In that time, we’ve installed numerous Silestone worktops, moulded Integrity sinks and embraced its new work surface material, Dekton, by starting to install it in a number of recent projects.
We only use the best quality materials in our furniture and that ethos follows through to the work-surfaces we supply to our customers. This has enabled us to establish strong relationships with companies like Cosentino, as well as F Jones Cleveland, which expertly processes the material for us.
Cosentino hosted a special celebration dinner to commemorate the Elite Honours Winners at Le Manoir Aux Quat-Saisons, Oxfordshire, at which I and senior designer George Campbell received a beautiful glass and Silestone trophy. We will also feature on Cosentino’s website.
The award is yet another highlight in what has been a great 2016 for us, having opened a new state-of-the-art showroom in Grange Road earlier this year. This has become a fantastic showcase for some of our best work and continues to host cooking demonstration evenings and wine tastings.
This year we have also invested in a new website and advertising campaign – and employed George, an award-winning designer no less, with over 30 years of industry experience. Not a bad year so far – and there are still a few months to go!
